Paper Abstract:      This paper is about Integrated Microlearning, a certain approach of learning, which makes use of ICT for learning purposes. It deploys electronic tools of everyday use (mobile phones, laptops, PDAs, etc.) for didactic purposes, providing learners with tiny bits of content as well as instigations to learn. The aim of Microlearning is to support current educational settings by bridging the gap between the learning and work/leisure environments. The paper also reports on practical experiences with the Knowledge Pulse®, an application to foster this new approach to e-learning designed by ARC Seibersdorf Research GmbH, Research Studios Austria, Studio eLearning Environments, Innsbruck.
